What is ID of individuals/personal ID in Uzbekistan?

ID of individuals/personal ID (personal identification number of an individual) is a single identifier that certifies the identity of a citizen in the provision of all state, banking, social and other services in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On additional measures to further create favorable conditions for the population and business entities when using state services, reduction of bureaucratic barriers in this direction" УП-6191 dated 23 of March 2021. 

Citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan can find their personal ID in their biometric passport:



Foreign citizens and stateless persons who do not permanently reside in Uzbekistan can obtain ID of individual/personal ID at regional (city) migration and citizenship offices (passport offices) or in Centers for Public Services. To recieve ID of individual/personal ID, they need to apply to the passport office or to Center for Public Services of any district on their own, with the presentation of a passport, photo 3x4, temporary registration in the Republic of Uzbekistan. As a result of the appeal, foreign citizens and stateless persons receive ID of individual/personal ID during 2-4 working days. Receiving ID of individual/personal ID by proxy is also possible.
